"It has been our privilege to work with Foushée on two rewarding projects for outstanding non-profit organizations. Given our great working relationship established during the Technology Access Foundation Bethaday Community Learning project and our confidence in their abilities, we were delighted when Foushée was selected to handle tenant improvements at the Bullitt Center. Their capable work on this highly visible project commenced as the building neared completion and involved bridging the gap between core and shell work, and the transition with the Owner's rep to simultaneously meet the expectations, budgets and timelines of multiple tenants. Above and beyond demands of a typical construction project, this work also required the Foushée team to quickly come up to speed on numerous unique expectations and constraints related to the building's pursuit of the Living Building Challenge. These requirements impacted material and product procurement. In many cases, the Living Building Challenge restricted or precluded the use of many items commonly used by building trades such as wiring, drywall and metal studs, and incorporated salvaged materials. Their workmanship and attention to detail is especially evident in the installation of the all-glass partitions, wood paneling and metal fabrications in both the tenant spaces and the 15th Avenue lobby. We welcome another project together with Foushée."
